HR Today featured our pilot project with Swissôtel in their March issue in an article on internal communications. The main objective in this project was to increase employee engagement across several Swissôtel locations by introducing a new set of internal communication channels that allowed for better cross-departmental and cross-regional exchange.
The program was centered around enabling a better (and more informal) flow of idea and information sharing as well as nurturing employee connections between hotels. The centerpiece of our program was the Talk! employee community platform powered by our technical partner Beekeeper, a firm specialized in online community solutions. The program was further complemented by a set of activities from our communication, team and leadership modules.
Before and after, an assessment was carried out which proved significant and positive. The results were later used in a research paper that was produced in collaboration with the Economic faculty of the University of Zurich with the title “The Impact of Internal Social Company Networks on Employee Satisfaction.”
